COVID-19 CASE INFORMATION

09/09/2020

In our commitment to transparency, I inform you that two residents have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of residents testing positive to seventeen. The two residents are currently in isolation and are symptom free.

All ten employees that have previously tested positive are fully recovered and have been cleared to return to work.

Balmoral Nursing Home continues to follow all the recommendations from the CDC and the Illinois Dept. of Public Health to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and staff. As we test more residents and staff throughout the facility, we will continue to share results. Residents testing positive for COVID-19 will be moved to a designated isolation area while they are recovering from their illness and will return to their rooms once it is safe for them to do so.

Nine employees have been cleared to return to work while one is on Covid-leave.
